New Mix

Here's another little mix for your audio enjoyment, featuring quite a few tracks from my chart a few weeks back. I was a bit hungover recording it after going to Fuerzabruta last night (It's amazing, if you get the chance, go) but hopefully it doesn't show too much.

Tracklisting is...

Franz Ferdinand - Do You Want To (Erol Alkan Remix)
Tiefschwarz - Warning Siren (Buick Project Remix)
Peaches - Downtown (Simian Mobile Disco Remix)
Juan Maclean - Give Me Every Little thing (X Press 2 Remix)
Tiga - Louder than a Bomb (only a snippet)
Justice - Waters of Nazareth (Erol Alkan Remix)
Nicky Vanshe & Dangerous Dan - Around the World Again in 5.07
Mylo vs. Tocadisco - Muscle Car
Klaxons - Gravity's Rainbow (Nightmoves Remix)
The Knife - We Share our Mother's Health (Trentemoller Remix)
Goose - Black Gloves

Download it here, hope you enjoy it.

Benicassim

So I just got back from this spanish festival a few days ago, and it was fucking wicked, though ridiculously hot and tiring - I feel like I need another holiday to recover. Highlights were the ever reliable Erol Alkan closing the opening night in fine style (even going so far as to play Rage Against the Machine mid set), dancing outside in sprinklers until the sun came up, Soulwax / Nite Versions / 2 Many DJs / whatever rocking it in the frankly awesome electronica tent, and late night drunken swimming at the beach party. On a guitar tip I have to take my hat off to The Strokes who were a lot better than I expected and rocked the main stage after the dissapointing Pixies (though opinion seems divided on this), Franz Ferdinand who were great as always, and the unexpected highlight of the festival has to go to Art Brut, fast, loud and very very funny. We salute you boys!
